Ever since hg 854efbf457bd on 2023-04-17, any patching done to the first code section in the init of application mode or device driver mode would overflow if its patch site was in the boot loaded support part truncated as unused.
This in practice only affected builds with _PM=0 _DUALCODE or
if running on a pre-386 machine with _PM=1.
Fixed in hg 43d91d321975 on 2026-09-24.
