The buffered twl may be overwritten by .emit_ledata, which was already noted in the comment but the location of the reread was too late. The twlExtdefIndex also needs to be read from the correct twl.

Fix to reread current twl to read the extdef index in hg 5a142e4ea8e7 on 2026-03-11. Later that day optimised to reread only if possibly needed, in hg a227ca5f2be7.
